The Reel Life

30 August 2007

The week of Susan

Last week in The Reel Life, we followed Bodog online slot player Susan G. as she tore up the machines for more than $30,839 in winnings. The day that article was published she continued her amazing run, capturing another $124,000 in online slot victories.

And then her true run began.

Between Aug. 28 and Aug. 28, the mythical Susan G. hit 12 different jackpot payouts, totaling more than $200,000, according to the Bodog Beat. In the last two weeks, Susan G. has become a Bodog legend, winning more than $320,000!

And why do they still allow her to play? We're not worthy Susan G.

Everyone is partying at Intercasino

Several online slot players are enjoying the current Summer Slots Party promotion currently running at Intercasino.

"Sara" took home $6,400 on the Marvel Jackpot machine Thursday. Also winning this week was "bdavies" and "gtbob1967," taking home $7,300 and $9,400 respectively, according to the Intercasino winner's board.

The Intercasino Summer Slots party will run until Sept. 6.

For each day of the promotion, Intercasino will reward the players who meet their promotion's wager requirements ($100-$300) by entering them in a raffle for the day's top prize. Every time a player hits the required amount, they will receive another entry into the day's raffle.

Make sure you're invited to the big party!

Ryan McLane

Ryan McLane was a poker reporter for Casino City. Although he has a strong background in reporting, the same can't be said for his poker skills. He has never won a major tournament nor is he a professional player. He applied for this job thinking it was a joke, only to find it out that it's true, people will pay you to write about poker. His favorite word is ridiculous.

After receiving his BA in History from Stonehill College in Easton, MA, he somehow ended up freelance reporting for a couple years before being deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom III with the Massachusetts National Guard. He's back now and is a strong advocate of the phrase "God Bless America."

Currently, Ryan lives in Boston and occasionally makes international treks to cover tournament poker and news. Feature writing is his passion and there is no need to ask for his opinion, he'll probably offer it first - free of charge.
